Ivan turned 5! We had a small celebration with sensory games. We gave him a new dinosaur set – he was thrilled. Today he asked for juice using the PECS card by himself, a huge progress.

At his physical education session he climbed the wall bars for the first time by himself. He is very afraid of heights, but with the coach’s support he managed. Now he tries to climb the sofa at home too.
January 20, 2025
First word – “mama”! We heard it while playing with water. Since then he repeats it more and more often, though not always appropriately. The speech therapist says it’s an excellent sign.

We started going to the “Rebus” center. Ivan quickly got used to the new environment. Today he showed the “eat” card for the first time when he was hungry – previously he would just cry.
March 10, 2024
ASD officially diagnosed. Mixed feelings, but now we have a plan. We immediately signed up for therapy; we’ll try the Denver model.
September 15, 2023
We did an audiometry test – hearing is completely normal. This means the issue is more profound. The pediatrician referred us to the “Prodviženie” clinic for evaluation.
